Variable products can be configured in two ways:

1. Variations share the same layers, choices are set per variation or
2. Variations share the same configuration

Variations share the same layers, choices are set per variation

In this case, the configurator is setup in each variation.

Note that in that case, the configurations share the same layers and angles between all the variations. Only the choices and conditions are set separately, so editing the layers in one variation will affect the others:

When selecting “Variations share the same configuration”, you’ll setup the configuration once in the General tab, then select which variations are configurable:
